People wishing to be connected to our network;

People wishing to get connected to our network are encouraged to follow the processes outlined below:

1. Prospective customer fills PHED form 74
2. The form is signed by the contractor that wired the building who must be an Engineer registered with COREN or possess a wiring license issued by the Federal Ministry of Power and 
Steel.
3. The Service Centre Manager reviews the completed form.
4. The Wiring Inspector confirms that the transformer in the area has available capacity.
5. The Accountant confirms that the prospective customer has no outstanding bills.
6. The customer is issued an account number and is documented for connection.

Payment can be made at our cash offices located in strategic locations or at designated bank branches.

New Multi-Year Tariff Order (MYTO)

The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) approved the Multi-Year Tariff Order (MYTO) for the determination of charges and tariffs for electricity generation, transmission, and retail tariffs for the period 1st July 2008 to 30th June 2013.

The average tariff was moved from approximately =N7.00/Kwh to =N8.50/Kwh with effect from 1st July 2010.
